During English class at Presentation College, a sponsored ministry of the Presentation Sisters, students were encouraged to write a poem or bring one of their favorite poems to class and read it aloud. All Faculty, staff and students were invited to attend the poetry reading. Sister Kathleen Bierne was also invited to share her favorite poem and read from “Poems for the Course of Study”, which is where she received her interest for poems while in the 6th grade.
