Cinco de Mayo is a family event that brings together the business and civic community of Sioux Falls and the surrounding area to recognize, appreciate and celebrate the cultural gifts and heritage of the Latino people in our midst. While observing this traditional Mexican holiday, the upcoming Wells Fargo Cinco De Mayo Falls Park Fiesta in Sioux Falls, creates awareness of and develops pride in the diverse Latino cultures that make up our community. Latino food, dance, art, music, children’s activities and more make this a festive and fun family day. Avera is the entertainment sponsor for the event featuring a wide range of local and national talent that you just can’t miss!
The fiesta is held inside Falls Park in Sioux Falls, SD and runs from 11am – 7pm. More information at www.cincofiesta.com
All proceeds raised from the event help Caminando Juntos ministries of the Presentation Sisters, a non-profit agency providing services to the Sioux Falls Latino community, such as ESL classes, advocacy, networking, counseling and immigration services.
