Vocation Outreach Through our Vocation Outreach Ministry, the Presentation Sisters offer a variety of programs and activities to enrich your faith life and support your spiritual and personal growth for youth, young adults and adults. We believe that God created each of us with a special dream or purpose for our lives and we invite you to join us through these programs and activities to take time to “listen to your life and come to know your own personal vocational call.” Please contact vocation outreach to visit with someone regarding the opportunities available and/or to visit with our vocation director for more information on discerning your personal vocational call and what it means to be a Presentation Sister.

Sister Mary Aileen Huettl
My vocation was rooted in my parents’ faith and in our mission church, Sacred Heart in Westport. Presentation Sisters from Aberdeen came to teach Catechism two weeks in the summer. These women, who they were and what they taught, made a deep impression in my life. Some years later, I entered the Presentation School of Nursing. During this time, I came to know sisters who were nurses, nurse educators and friends. During a weekend student retreat, God’s call became clear and I was filled with joy.
I have been blessed to minister to God’s people as a nurse, social worker and pastoral minister in parish and hospital. The heart of my ministry has been sharing God’s presence and love with people of varied ages and situations.
